FAQ about the council

Who is The Unified Community Voice & Advocacy Council?

The Unified Community Voice & Advocacy Council is a resident-led council that exists to strengthen our neighborhood through education, open communication, and collective action. We aim to empower residents with the knowledge and tools needed to understand community issues, elevate every neighbor's voice, and advocate effectively for positive, lasting change. We are committed to building strong neighborhood morale by fostering meaningful connections and hosting inclusive community events that bring neighbors together. Through unity, engagement, and advocacy, we work to create a connected, informed, and empowered community.

Is UCVAC affiliated with the HOA or developers?

UCVAC is not affiliated with the HOA, the Board of Directors, or the management company, and participation in UCVAC does not replace or interfere with any official HOA processes.

Who is able to join UCVAC?

UCVAC is open to all community members, both homeowners and renters. Renters are welcome to engage and participate. While they aren’t able to vote on official HOA matters or participate in processes such as formal complaint forms and proxies, our group serves as a liaison to bring renters’ concerns forward at board meetings that impact the neighborhood.

How often are meetings held?

We hold regular monthly meetings. These meetings are independent of and separate from HOA Board meetings.  Our meetings are collaborative and mission-based, covering various topics that help build community morale and focus on what’s within our control as homeowners.
